“There’s no school like old school” is a catchphrase that’s become more and more useful to me. Take this songs list for example. There’s no getting around the fact a cataloging exercise like this will pinpoint your age, or at the very least age-group, with greater accuracy than the ‘ol tree ring analysis trick will for a Californian Red Spruce.
And I’m ok with that.
