
Not heard the word ‘pubalicious before?
Don’t feel bad. Before SCENIC WRITER’S SHACK made it up, neither had I.
Pubalicious is a quality used to describe writing deemed good enough to be published by someone else and somewhere else besides the person’s own blog.
At first you may be struck by the absence of marquee names amongst this list. No Time Magazine. No New Yorker. No Paris Review. Not even a less hoighty, considerably more down to earth Horticultural Monthly.
Don’t worry. You’ll get used to it. Just as I have.
Back at reality headquarters, the names and publications you will find mentioned here, each card carrying members of what may unassumingly be labelled the ‘small press’, are all word-loving outlets who have managed to find merit in things I’ve written and considered them by some means worthy and interesting enough to share with an audience. A bunch of real troupers the lot of them I say.
