Glen Donaldson inhabits the region within and around Brisbane-Australia and is a member of the order Lepidoptera.
He has often been confused with the larvae of sawflies, but is cryptically coloured which is a distinguishing feature. Glen grows rapidly between moults and is rich in protein. Only his head capsule is hardened.
Herbivorous, insectivorous and mainly nocturnal, Glen has evolved defenses against physical conditions such as cold, hot and dry environmental conditions. He eats a diet high in tannin content.
If this all seems a bit far-fetched, wait till you read his blog.
